[ 112 W 25 Street ]

A hospitality project featuring a sculptural floating staircase crafted in wood, metal, and glass.

The most important piece of design of this hotel were the stairs, located in the hotel lobby, the stairs were technically designed by me, as well as supervising the fabrication and installation of them.

A floating design was a significant structural challenge, metal, wood and glass were used in this artwork  as well as in other important elements of the hotel in which we participated.

Something remarkable on this Project is that all the components of the stairs were cut with a robotic arm which uses laser technology for precision cuts.

a huge challenge that requires a high level of detail when designing and manufacturing architectural elements.
